Frequently asked questions
What is the Revobo LSO?
The Revobo LSO is a lumbar support brace designed to support your lower back during recovery. It also includes smart sensor technology that tracks brace wear and movement to help support your recovery plan.
Why was I prescribed this brace?
Your healthcare provider prescribed the Revobo LSO to help stabilize your lower back, reduce strain, and support healing. The brace helps limit certain movements while encouraging safe activity.
How tight should my brace be?
Your brace should feel snug and supportive, but not painful or restrictive. You should be able to breathe comfortably and sit or stand without discomfort. If you feel numbness, tingling, or increased pain, loosen the brace slightly. Please reach out to your healthcare provider if you are experiencing any fitment issues.
When should I wear my brace?
Follow the instructions provided by your healthcare provider. Many patients are asked to wear the brace during daily activities and remove it for sleeping unless told otherwise.
Can I sleep in my Revobo LSO?
Only sleep in your brace if your provider has instructed you to do so. If allowed, make sure the brace is properly positioned and not causing pressure points.
What should I wear under my brace?
Wear a thin, breathable shirt or tank top under your brace to help protect your skin and improve comfort. Avoid thick seams or bulky clothing.
Can I shower with my brace on?
No. Remove your brace before showering or bathing unless your provider has specifically told you otherwise. The brace and sensor should stay dry.
What does the smart sensor track?
The sensor tracks information such as how long you wear your brace and general movement patterns. It does not record audio, video, or your location.
Do I need to do anything for the sensor to work?
Yes. Make sure the sensor is connected to the Revobo app on your phone. Keeping your phone charged and nearby helps ensure accurate tracking.
What if my app isn’t connecting to the brace?
Try these steps:
Make sure Bluetooth is turned on
Keep your phone close to the brace
Restart the app
Recharge or reset the sensor if needed
If the problem continues, contact Revobo Support.
What if I forget to wear my brace?
Put your brace on as soon as you remember, unless your provider has told you otherwise. Wearing your brace as prescribed helps support your recovery.
Is the brace tracking all the time?
The sensor only tracks brace wear and movement related to your recovery when connected to the app. It does not track your location or personal conversations.
How do I clean my Revobo LSO?
Follow the care instructions provided with your brace. Typically, fabric components can be hand-washed and air-dried. Do NOT machine wash as there is an embedded sensor in the brace. Submerging the brace in water will void the warranty.
What should I do if my skin get irritated?
Remove the brace and allow your skin to rest. Make sure you’re wearing a protective layer underneath and that the brace is properly fitted. If irritation continues, contact your healthcare provider.
What if my brace or sensor breaks?
Contact the Health Care Provider you received the brace from so they can submit a Help Desk ticket for a warranty claim.
